Who is smart homes designed for?

Mi Jeong Kim1*, Myung Eun Cho1, 2* and Han Jong Jun1, Summary · Related Works · Framework to Build. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply smart home services based on a user-centered understanding for a more practical and effective smart home implementation. Their problems were identified through the health problems and daily activities identified in the scenarios, and personalized smart home services were developed for each resident based on technical solutions, space requirements and design solutions. I quickly learned that I was very passionate and interested in the industry, and then I decided to start working in home electronic installations full time and joined a local company specializing in home audiovisual and custom installations.

In this framework, users control and regulate technology more efficiently and become owners of their lives and their smart homes. The success of smart homes depends fundamentally on their adoption and use by people in the context of daily life. Users' technical experiences and their physical capacity and health status are important variables to consider when developing a smart home service. Recently, the need to conduct research on smart homes in a more user-centered manner has been suggested, realizing that technological development cannot achieve substantial results in other IT fields without a user-centered view.

Crabtree and Rodden (200) argued that the design of smart homes could be based on household routines; therefore, the daily routines of the inhabitants should be explained. A large number of intelligent lighting systems work perfectly without a central hub and are fully capable of communicating with other smart devices, such as speakers or screens. Leveraging IoT technologies to improve smart homes from a health point of view by identifying patients Smart homes became a technical demand due to the great boom in electronics, in which homes slowly began to move towards full automation. Unlike research that has focused on technical issues, the framework seeks to identify and integrate cross-cutting relationships based on an understanding of homes and smart users.

A number of smart home services can be presented based on the problems and solutions identified in the three scenarios. The architecture of a smart home depends on other branches, such as technologies, spaces and services.
